AboutMillie Bobby Brown was born in Marbella, Spain, on February 19, 2004. Millie, who is the third of four children from parents Kelly and Robert Brown, was born with partial hearing loss in her left ear before losing all hearing in that ear. She moved to England as a child before her family settled in Orlando, Florida, when she was 8 years old.
The actress booked her first role in 2013 as the younger version of Alice in the Once Upon a Time spinoff series, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Millie went on to appear in TV shows including Intruders, NCIS, Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy.
In 2016, Millie rose to fame after playing Eleven in Netflix’s hit sci-fi series Stranger Things. After receiving critical acclaim for the role, she won a Screen Actors Guild Awards and received two Emmy nods.
On the big screen, the model has scored projects such as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong and upcoming appearances in Damsel and The Electric State. Millie is also a producer on several movies including Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2, which she stars in alongside Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham Carter.
The Saturn Award winner launched her beauty product line, Florence by Mills in 2019. Her debut novel, Nineteen Steps, is set to be released in September 2023. In addition to acting, Millie is an online student at Purdue University studying health and human services
In 2021, the Netflix star started dating Jon Bon Jovi‘s son Jake Bongiovi. The couple got engaged two years later.
