Pawn Stars' Chumlee Arrested During Raid: See His Mugshot
Pawn Stars personality Austin “Chumlee” Russell has been arrested, multiple outlets reported. The reality star was taken into custody at a Las Vegas jail on Wednesday, March 9, on 19 drug charges and one weapon charge. (TMZ was the first to report the news.)
Police reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana and at least one gun in the History Channel star’s home while serving a search warrant in a sexual assault investigation, according to the Las Vegas Sun. As of Wednesday night, Russell, 33, was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on $62,000 bail, according to arrest records.
While Russell wasn’t charged in the sexual assault case, the Associated Press reports that Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Officer Larry Hadfield said that the raid was the result of a recent complaint by a woman — and that the investigation is ongoing.
Following the premiere of Pawn Stars in 2009, Chumlee quickly became one of the series’ most beloved cast members. He heads a successful merchandise line and has a social media following that’s 624,000 followers strong.
